The Great Adventurers Club – Terms and Conditions

The Great Adventurers Club (hereinafter the “Club”) is an exciting opportunity for G Adventures’ customers to access certain benefits based on the number of tours they’ve travelled on with G Adventures.

To qualify to be a part of the Club customers must have travelled on at least 4 eligible tours with G Adventures since January 1st, 2000.

By being a part of the Club, customers will enjoy the following benefits:

• Great Adventure Credits – whereas customers will receive additional travel credits as per the terms and conditions below.
• Twice the Trees – Great Adventurer Club Members will have double the number of trees planted on their behalf as part of G Adventures’ Trees for Days program.
• At Your Service – whereas customers that are a part of the Club will gain access to a priority phone number and email address
• Front-of-the-line Access – whereas customers will get insight and sneak peaks on new tour offerings, travel styles, and G Adventures updates
• The Sweetest of Savings – whereas customers will gain advance notice of discounts
• #1 on G Adventures’ invite list – whereas customers will gain exclusive access to G Adventures events
• We Hope You Like Surprises – whereas customers may gain access to additional snazzy rewards and travel perks
• And the Award Goes to – whereas annual awards will be given to customers based on meeting specific criteria as outlined below.

Any passport, visa, and vaccination procurement and costs are the sole responsibility of the customer. By being a member of the Club customers hereby agree to G Adventures’ booking terms and conditions, found at gadventures.com/terms/. Mandatory insurance, at the cost of the customer, is required for participation on any G Adventures tour, in an amount no less than USD$200,000 and covering medical, evacuation, and repatriation while travelling. G Adventures reserves the right to cancel any booking or benefit as outlined in these Terms and Conditions due to unauthorized, altered, ineligible, or fraudulent activity a customer has participated in to gain access to the benefits associated with the Club or as otherwise stated herein.

By participating in the Club, customers must be 18 years old or older and agree to: (a) comply with all Terms and Conditions as outlined herein and abide by the decisions of G Adventures which shall be final and binding in all respects; and (b) release, discharge, and hold harmless G Adventures and the agencies involved in the development and administration of the Club, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, and employees, from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of their participation in the Club and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any of the benefits as described herein and to execute any release documents required. ANY ATTEMPT BY A CUSTOMER OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CLUB MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, G ADVENTURES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING LEGAL FEES AND COSTS) FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. G Adventures’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. G Adventures reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or prematurely conclude the Club should any fraud, tampering, unauthorized intervention or other cause beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Club. G Adventures reserves the right to disqualify any customer from being a part of the Club or who violates the Terms and Conditions of the Club or any associated benefit or interferes with the Club in any manner.

Customers shall not be entitled to any monetary or other forms of compensation for their participation in the Club other than those expressly set out herein.

G Adventures is also not responsible for errors or problems which may occur in connection with or relating to the Club, whether computer, network, technical, mechanical, typographical, printing, human or otherwise, including, without limitation, errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Club. G Adventures is also not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials related to the Club.

The following exclusions apply, as the following will not count towards the minimum of 4 tours needed to be a part of the Club:

• Booking/travelling on the following tour types: Day Tours, Mini Adventures, and/or Independent Tours
• Booking/travelling through the following booking channels: internal and/or affinities, and/or Tailormade
• Any tours booked (and travelled on) made by the following agency codes: 28511, 25278, 736741
• Any tours booked (and travelled on) with a discount of 40% or above
• Any FAMs or media tours travelled on
• Tours booked (and travelled on) that were given as a prize resulting from a promotion, giveaway, or any other marketing endeavour(s) as decided by G Adventures in its sole discretion
• Any tours booked (and travelled on) with a purple tag discount
• Any tours booked (and travelled on) using G Dollars

G Adventures will further evaluate which trips will count towards the minimum of the 4 tours needed to be a part of the Club at its sole discretion.

Great Adventure Credit – Terms and Conditions

A G Adventures’ Great Adventure Credit (the "Great Adventure Credit") is valid for the stated amount in the specified currency only. Any bookings made using a Great Adventure Credit must be made in the same currency the Great Adventure Credit was issued in.

A Great Adventure Credit can only be applied by customers that are a part of G Adventures’ Great Adventurers Club (the “Great Adventurers Club”). To see if you qualify/are eligible to be a part of the Great Adventurers Club and can thus utilize a Great Adventure Credit please refer to the Great Adventurers Club Terms and Conditions.

Customers will be eligible to earn a Great Adventure Credit by travelling on a G Adventures’ tour. Upon completion of the tour, customers will receive one Great Adventure Credit, which will automatically be applied to their G Adventures account, within +1 day after returning home from their tour to use on future bookings, or as otherwise specified by G Adventures.

Customers who are a part of the Great Adventurers Club can earn multiple Great Adventure Credits per year, but each Great Adventure Credit earned must be used when booking the next immediate tour. Great Adventure Credits cannot be stacked together, and multiple cannot be applied to be used on the same tour.

To clarify, if a customer has taken 10 tours with G Adventures throughout their lifetime, they will be eligible to receive a $150 USD Great Adventure Credit upon their arrival home from their 10th G Adventures tour.

The first available Great Adventure Credit will be automatically applied to customers’ accounts on September 27th, 2024, provided that such customers have travelled on at least 4 eligible G Adventures trips since January 1st, 2000, with at least one trip travelled since January 1st, 2015.

A Great Adventure Credit must be used to book a tour within 12 months from the date it's issued, and the selected tour must depart within 24 months from the date it's issued.

In a situation where a Great Adventure Credit is not used in full, any unused balance will remain in the customer’s account and can be applied towards future eligible bookings subject to the original timing constraints. When a customer becomes eligible for a new Great Adventure Credit based on their eligible completed trips, the total balance in the customer’s account will be updated through a top-up to equal the value of the new Great Adventure Credit tier. For example, if a customer completes their 10th trip and qualifies for a $150 USD Great Adventure Credit but has $50 USD worth of unused funds in their account from their last Great Adventure Credit, the account will be topped up by $100 to reach a total of $150 USD. When a top-up is applied, the total Great Adventure Credit in the customer’s account will be used as a new Great Adventure Credit, and the entire amount (which includes any carried-over balance) will be subject to the same validity period as the newly issued Great Adventure Credit. Any previous timing or expiration conditions on unused balance will no longer apply once the top-up is issued.

A Great Adventure Credit cannot be applied towards:

• G Adventures’ tours with a discount of 40% or above
• Independent Trips
• Any type of tour deposit
• Day Tours
• Pre- or Post-tour accommodation
• Insurance
• Upgrades
• Add-ons
• “My Own Room” or “My Own Tent”
• Transfers
• Theme Packs
• Other in-country or on-board services

A Great Adventure Credit may be combined with any lifetime deposits, other offer(s), and/or other credit(s) that a customer may have, subject to the terms of the other offer(s) and credit(s).

Great Adventure Credits are commissionable for agents.

• Booking/travelling on the following tour types: Day Tours and/or Mini Adventures, Independent Tours
• Booking/travelling through the following booking channels: internal and/or affinities, and/or Tailormade

• Any tours booked (and travelled on) with a discount of 40% or above
• Any FAMs or media tours travelled on
• Tours booked (and travelled on) that were given as a prize resulting from a promotion, giveaway, or any other marketing endeavour(s) as decided by G Adventures in its sole discretion
• Any tours booked (and travelled on) with a purple tag discount
• Any tours booked (and travelled on) using G Dollars

G Adventures will further evaluate which trips will count towards the total tours needed to obtain a Great Adventure Credit at its sole discretion.

Great Adventure Credits have no cash value and are not transferable. If the booking to which a Great Adventure Credit is applied is cancelled by the customer, then the Great Adventure Credit will be forfeited provided that cancellation was communicated to G Adventures within 59 days of the date of first travel.

G Adventures reserves the right to withdraw or modify this offer from sale at any time without prior notice and reserves the right to modify the value of a Great Adventure Credit in its sole discretion and may modify the applicability period of any Great Adventure Credit in its sole discretion. Great Adventure Credits will be issued in the last currency on file within a customers’ account with G Adventures.

Passport, visa, and vaccination procurement and costs are the sole responsibility of the traveller. Use of a Great Adventure Credit is subject to the traveller agreeing to G Adventures’ booking terms and conditions, found at gadventures.com/terms/. Mandatory insurance, at the cost of the traveller, is required for participation on any G Adventures trip, in an amount no less than USD$200,000 and covering medical, evacuation, and repatriation while travelling. G Adventures reserves the right to cancel any booking due to unauthorized, altered, ineligible, or fraudulent use of a Great Adventure Credit.
